As the owner of the high voltage (HV) electricity transmission network in England and Wales, National Grid has substantial experience and technical expertise in the provision of safe, reliable, high quality HV engineering services. We have been delivering these services to external customers, via the Commercial Engineering Services (CES) team, for 27 years.
CES provides a full account management service, which includes: contract set up and management; quotation, planning, delivery and invoice liaison; and customer satisfaction measurement and analysis, as part of our continuous improvement cycle. The CES team works very closely with colleagues in the Operations, Operational Support and Network Engineering teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to customers throughout the UK, Ireland and, depending on the service, further afield.
